Changes and Frustrations

Well, where to begin?...My job has been crazy lately. I work at Wal-Mart and we are getting ready to move into our new supercenter sometime in October. Everything has been so insane around work. They have hired so many new people! I don't know half of them anymore and we all used to know everyone. If someone new was hired, everyone was like "Who is that?" But now we don't know what to do! They are starting set-up next week. All the Dept. Managers and all the new people are going so everything will be back to normal in our store for a while. Sooooooo looking forward to that! They are not giving us a smoking break room in our new store though and like 90 percent of our employees are smokers. So we all have to go outside to our cars, at least 50 feet away from the building to smoke. Guess they can't call us back off of our breaks anymore huh? At least I get a semi-promotion when we move. It's not really a promotion just a change in departments, but I do get a raise. (Granted a small one, but a raise none the less) Well I think that's all I got for now! TTFN

Can't sleep, again

Well, I just got home from Tennessee yesterday. Kane and I went to Chattanooga for a mini vacation for my birthday. We got a package that had a two night hotel stay, tickets to Rock City, Ruby Falls, The Incline Railway, the TN Aquarium and the IMAX. So that was my birthday present, or so I thought. Thursday night before we left on Friday, I was checking our bank account online to see how much money we had before we left  and to see if I needed to transfer some over from savings. Well I found this debit for like ninety bucks and I wasn't sure of the company it was to. Then I found where someone had transferred $100 bucks over earlier that day. So I was all confused and stressed. So I called Kane and asked him about it. He said "Go over to my side of the bed and get the sheets of paper that are in between the Timberland box and the wall" and I was like "ummmm ok". So I got them and he told me to read them. They were tickets. As I read them they were for Friday night at 8:00 pm at an opera theatre in Chattanooga. But they sure weren't for the opera (cuz he know I hate opera) They were for one if my favorite bands in the whole world...3 DOORS DOWN!!!!! I was so excited I was speechless, and let me tell you, that does not happen to me often! So after all this talk about the trip being my birthday present, he surprised me with tickets to the concert!! He literally found the tickets early Thursday morning (like 5am) online after he got home from working graveyard. There were only four seats left in the entire show and we got two of them! I am still excited like three days after the fact! I had so much fun this weekend and I can't wait til we get to go out of town again. Well it is really late (or really early) here and I need to get some sleep! TTFN

Well I'm not exactly sure what I want to write about here. Should I write about my problems, my happy moments, or everything else in between? I guess we will start from the beginning. I am 23 years old and I live in North Carolina. Have lived here all my life. I have most definitely had my ups and downs. My largest down was from the time I was 17 until I was 20. I was in a relationship that was definitely not good for me. But one day in June of 2004 my wonderful husband came along and saved me. I will always be grateful to him for that. I love him more than anything in this world and wouldn't trade him for anything or anyone. He is my light, my life and my soulmate. We have also had our ups and downs but WE know how to work things out, unlike some people I know who just didn't listen to me or care how I felt.  We have a wonderful doggy named Leela. She was a pound puppy who was severly underweight when we got her but now she is fat and very happy. She IS my child since we have no children yet. I work for one of the largest companies in the world, but I won't say who because I don't want to get started on that. I could spend all day talking about how bad things can be. But then again at least it is a job, alot of people can't find a job so I guess I should just be grateful that I have one huh? Well I guess that is all for now. TTFN
